About Us
The Wine Room was borne out of dream that my wife, Joanna, and I, had of being able to demonstrate that the world of wine does not start and end with the offerings from your local major multiple.
With our passion for wine, backed up with my Diploma in Wine and Spirits, and a number of years in the wine trade, the only natural path to take was to share our passion with as many people as possible.
...So The Wine Room was born!
The Wine Room exists primarily to bring you wine that you would not necessarily have heard of, from regions you may not even know exist. We offer you carefully crafted wines from small, family owned vineyards as well as wines from larger, more familiar, producers like Saint Clair, Hamilton Russell and Marchesi de'Frescobaldi.
Wines from North and South America, Europe, Africa, The Middle East and Australasia all feature in a portfolio of over 900 wines. Monthly mixed case offerings give you the chance to sample particular areas of our portfolio. The list is unrivalled, continually evolving and contains many award winning wines. We can assure you that whatever the price of the wine, you will not be disappointed.
