Payment
The price for any products ordered will be as quoted on our website or by our official quotation. All prices quoted are in GB Pounds Sterling and we can only accept payment in this currency. All prices are inclusive of VAT, but exclude the standard delivery charge of £6.00. Please note that your credit or debit card will be debited for the full value of your order when payment is authorised and before we dispatch your order.
Payment for orders can be made by credit or debit card via our secure payment system, provided by HSBC. We do not receive any of your credit card or financial details from payments handled on our behalf by HSBC. Please contact HSBC regarding any queries you have with your payment.
Delivery
Our standard charge for delivery within mainland UK is £6.00 per order, regardless of the number of cases. Other areas such as Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands are subject to additional delivery charges. Please contact us for details.
Please note we are unable to export any of our products overseas.
Deliveries will be made Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. We do not deliver on weekends and bank holidays. We aim to deliver within 7 working days of your order being placed, however we shall not be held liable for any loss due to delivery delays beyond our control.
All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be requested by the courier - please see 'Age Restrictions'. Should any damage to the packaging be obvious please ensure the courier makes a note of this on the delivery form alongside your signature.
We will give you advance notice of the intended date of delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept and sign for the delivery. Should no one be available, a charge for redelivery may be applied. If you give us special instructions to leave the wine outside your house, or anywhere other than the delivery address, it will be left at your own risk.
Delivery Errors or Breakages
If your order is delivered damaged or the wrong product is sent in error, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery date and we will arrange for a replacement to be dispatched to you as soon as possible and for the damaged or incorrect goods to be collected. We reserve the right to offer an alternative product or give you a refund if the product is no longer available.
Out of Condition Wine
Due to the nature of wine, you may find on occasion that the product is out of condition (corked). If you notice an obvious defect within three months from the date of delivery, we will replace the defective item at our cost with the same product or a product of similar or better value. Alternatively, we may arrange for the wine to be collected within two weeks and a full refund given.
Please contact us to arrange an exchange or refund.
Age Restrictions
It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to persons under 18 years of age in the UK. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If our couriers are in doubt of the age of the recipient of an order they will request some form of proof of age identification. In the event that this is not presented, or is not satisfactory, they are not permitted to leave the wine. A charge for any redelivery may be applied.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order for any reason up to and including 7 days from the date of delivery of your order. The wines must be returned to us unopened, intact and in the original packaging at your own expense. We will reimburse the cost of the wine within 30 days from the date you notify us of the cancellation.
Alternatively, please notify us at the time of cancellation if you wish the wines to be collected. In this instance we will deduct the cost of collection from your refund. If you fail to make the goods available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point you will be charged for your order and delivery at the price set out on the website.
It is a breach of statutory duty to fail to return the wines or make them available for collection.
To cancel your order, please contact us.
