White Wines

Viña Echeverria is wholly owned by the Echeverria family. Their wines are made mainly from their own grapes together with rigorously selected grapes from other growers. All of their wines are bottled on the estate. Roberto Echeverria has recently made a considerable investment both in the vineyard and winery and one of his current primary targets is to obtain certification for his estate as environmentally friendly in all aspects. Great care is taken with the overall vineyard management. The vineyard is sub-divided into very small lots, each controlled for nutrient and water requirements on an individual basis. This helps to ensure balance, ripening and consistency of the grapes throughout the estate so that quality is assured. The 2004 Echeverria Carmenère was awarded ‘BEST VALUE RED WINE’ in the Chilean Wine Challenge 2005. This was followed by ‘BEST CARMENERE’ for the 2005 vintage at the 2006 Chilean Challenge.
